In this session we will dive deep into the world of Fascia Release and Yin Yoga.
Working with our Fascia means working with the quality of our bodies connective tissue. Fascia is a thin casing of connective tissue that surrounds and holds every organ, blood vessel, bone, nerve fiber and muscle in place. It provides our internal structure and is the ultimate connective tissue. It literally connects everything in our bodies and allows us to move with these connections. If our fascia is healthy and elastic we experience a lot of space and range of motion in the body. But if our Fascia is stiff, constricted and tensed we lose our mobility and often experience a lot of tightness and tension in the body.
We will work with different techniques to release tension from our fascia combined with the soft practice of Yin Yoga.
A relaxing and meditative form of yoga to bring deep relaxation to our body and nervous system.
Yin Yoga consists mostly of postures where we sit our lie down on the mat and we will hold those postures for a few minutes to really take the time to release tension, to create more space and to melt down into our body.
